Main Line Gardens Acquires Iconic Waterloo Gardens Brand

Providing customers with the same Waterloo Gardens’ quality, selection and service that made it one of the tri-state area’s most popular and respected garden centers for more than 70 years.

April 18, 2014 (Philadelphia): Main Line Gardens today announced that it has acquired the iconic Waterloo Gardens brand, preserving the legacy of this once thriving, treasured local landmark. The family-owned Waterloo Gardens, which hosted thousands of visitors over the years to its beautiful gardens and onsite store, closed its Exton, PA location last summer to the dismay of patrons all over the tri-state area who would frequent the gardens to enjoy the area’s largest selection of annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs, as well as shop for everything from outdoor furniture and home décor to garden accents, gifts and collectibles.

Main Line Gardens – a family-owned, full service garden center and nursery for professional landscaping and hardscaping – recognized a need in the community to keep the Waterloo Gardens brand alive and flourishing within the Main Line area at its current Malvern, PA location (www.mainlinegardens.com).

“We didn’t want to see the Waterloo Gardens brand disappear,” said Jody Camp, co-owner of Main Line Gardens. “It is a beloved household name in our area and – as a like-minded, family-owned business – we understand the importance of preserving history and tradition in the community.”
